The final exams in poly. This is the module which I liked the most, wrote the most notes in my life & studied the hardest for. Ironically, I fared very badly for it. And the module which I barely studied for? I got an A -.-
First time doing gel extensions (this is a sponsored advertorial). Pretty eh? I know of ppl who can't live a day without manicure. Once a month they'll remove it & immediately put on a new design. I'm a girl who doesn't like manicures. I probably only paint my nails twice a year. Why blow $200/mth on these? Bare is best.

I seriously think I make the best sandwiches! Haha thick-skinned. I'm actually quite a perfectionist. When I make sandwiches I must have 3 big plates & 2 knives place neatly on my "workstation", with all the ingredients. I'll make myself wake up early cos I associate picnics with the sun & waking up early in the morning makes me feel healthy :)
Then I'll cut the bread into triangles, next ham into triangles, then spread butter on the bread, put ham & spread tuna. (Probably put a redundant toothpick to look "pro" haha) Voila! I think I have more than one person ask why not put everything first then cut the bread. I dunno I just don't like it. I'm a perfectionist like that, don't mind me.
So carrying on... those sandwiches are for my darling girls who accompanied me to watch Macbeth. Shakespeare in the Park, it's so different watching a play under the skies while having picnic. (btw I couldn't catch 70% of the play. Very very literary, probably should read up on it more before watching) Nobody... NOBODY is willing to watch this play no matter how much I psycho-ed, other than these 2 darlings. Love ya, you know who you are ;)

Vegetable rice with grandma's homemade 'hei bi hiam', which is dried shrimps with chilli I think.
After graduation I was bumming around. I guess I just need a long break. So I stayed at my grandma's house for a month+. Everyday wake up in the late afternoon, eat lunch, had a tv drama schedule, take naps, sometimes grocery shopping in the supermarket. That period of time I wasn't going out too often so I don't spend much.
I'm pretty much amazed at myself how I don't have the urge for shopping like most girls do. I can don't shop for a month or two easily. But when I go out with my girlfriends & shop I still spend money obviously. What I'm amazed at is how good I can save, which allows me to bum around for 7 months. That's cos in the past when I still have allowances I always save before I spend. Even now when I started working I only spend like $250-$500/mth, still have enough for investment Even though I may seem like a spendthrift but I'm really not! Dad underestimated me! He bet with my mum say I'll probably save $200 max/mth but papa you're so so wrong!
So can you imagine how excited I am when I finally get to doll up properly after 6 mths or so?
Beerfest 2011. I didn't go to this year's which was just over 2 days ago cos I was out of town.
This is on a Sunday. I stay at my grandma's house fortnightly (mostly) & this is what I woke up to on Father's day last year. This year father's day is just a few days away... how fast time passes.
The pic above is one of the rare ones which had my grandpa in it when he's alive. He passed away 2 days before CNY this year. During the time he was hospitalised, it's just so hard when I visit cos he had dementia & watching him & other patients touched on my raw strings. And I don't like to cry. K shan't elaborate more I don't really like writing emo stuff.

Ahhhh time of the year when mum passes me all these letters & documents. Adult adult stuff which I'd been doing for them since secondary school. It's really unnerving & I usually chuck them in the drawer until the deadline draws near

That period of time Chloe & I were so enthusiastic about mj. We play for fun every 3-4 days. And we meet EVERYDAY. She'll come to my house & stay 2-3 days & I'll go to her house to stay, & she'll come back to my house. I'll wait up for her & vice versa. Really is everyday. And we're damn close then go everywhere also together. We only stop meeting after I started work, which has been 8 mths already & we meet alot alot less but you can feel it the the friendship's not totally apart.
This was done by my stupid cousin who pushed me into the pool on my birthday. Look how gross is the flesh pushing out!

I told ya. We're super onz about mj. And that's when I have early driving lesson the next morning!

Pulled Chloe to a baking class, organised by my German teacher. Oh yes I took German for 2 months at a CC. SENGKANG CC! I live in bloody bukit batok. Every Sunday spend 1hr+ travelling there. But that's me. If I really like & want to do something, I'll make the effort to do it. Just like how I used to travel to newton for french lesson every wk. But haha... I kinda returned 70% to the teacher already.

Right after I came back... took part in Ah Seng's surprise marriage proposal to Michelle, which was so romantic! She was blindfolded all the way from the Flyer to MBS, & don't have a clue what's going on. Finally found true love at 40+ yr old. Happy for both him & Michelle! :')

Before going to my dental appt, first in 4 years (ewww! I know!) I'm super afraid of dentist every since primary school! I'll chant & hope I won't be called down whenever a student walks by my classroom with a paper in his/her hand. Btw this dressing is so not my style, just that I'm in the mood to try new ones.

Haven't even officially start working & I got "bombed" by 2 red invitations. Hahaha! The pic above is of our branch Cisco security uncle, it's his daughters wedding & a ph so all of us attended.
Just now one of the photos is of Ah Seng & Michelle's surprise proposal. Now this one is of their wedding day! Also on xmas but evening. 2nd wedding I attended that day & 4th that month!
Well, that's the end of 2011. I'll blog about part 2 another day! I have to wake up in 4hr time & I don't really feel like sleeping... nor working.
I'd been thinking actually. What am I working for? Money? Nope I don't spend much so that's not an issue, although extra income would be nice. Experience? Nope what experience do I get when my job's so routined? Then what? Yes my interpersonal & communication skill probably gotten better cos of interaction with different ppl & situations. But what I want really... is to do what I want.
