We were supposed to go on a family trip last month. Sis wanna go to BKK cos she's never been there before, she doesn't want ANY OTHER PLACE other than Bangkok. & hearing me talk about the cheap shopping & food doesn't help. I was feeling really bummed cos I've been there twice this yr already. Then, mum suggest flying to Phuket too! Which got me lighted up cos it's my favouriteeeee place in the whole world, despite going there in aug already.
But 2 days prior to the trip mum had a virus infection & was hospitalised. Everything was booked & couldn't be refunded. Accommodation & flight already $3k wasted :( But no choice health more important. Treat as ward off disaster. I asked around who wants the ticket but it's too last min & nobody can make it. Even though mum was discharged but she's not fit for travel, so in the end I went w my friend & her mum instead :)
Alright here's some sneak preview, I'll try to see if I can blog this wk but I doubt I have the time :(
Just came back from Phuket & next wk I'm going to Cambodia again. And yesterday I just booked flights to Bali (another place I LOVE!) wtf. I'm a sucker for sunny beach destinations really. Gosh will the travelling bug stop biting me. I'm falling in love w Asia :)
Anyway talking about Cambodia, this time I'm going back just to celebrate Christmas w the kids! It was planned on the day I left the country haha. Before I left for the airport I went to the center & they asked when I will be back, ask me to come back for xmas & ATM the idea formed in my head. So I said "Ok!"
I can't wait!!! I've already emailed Ramy to leave room 108 for me haha! Yeah I'm going to stay in the same room at the same cheap hotel weee!~ Bought these Christmas accessories in Daiso, the week I came back. Cute eh?? These are all for them! Can you all imagine the smiles on their faces already? Omg they will be so so so so so happy! Vichea, phalla, liakna, sila, thida. all of them!!
The Christmas mood's totally engulfing me. Groceries shopping is enjoyable enough to me, but it's made even more pleasant with xmas songs playing!
